As the New York Regional Manag*r, you will be responsible for creating a client-focused, positive environment while possessing a strong desire to maximize studio revenue and occupancy in our two New York City locations (Flatiron and Upper East Side) and any new or temporary pop-up locations, as they come. You will provide leadership as a self-motivated, people-focused leader with a passion for wellness and excellent guest experience.
You will be an overall go-to person for customer service and operations-related questions in your region. Our ideal candidate has a passion for the Stretch*d brand, Method and culture. It is crucial that you are interpersonally savvy with a strong business acumen and the ability to creatively problem-solve on the fly. You should be internally-motivated, results-focused, and possess a sense of ownership of your region’s performance. You should be someone who loves to be on the move; you will spend your time in spaces throughout the New York region each week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership + People Management
- Provide regular support and feedback for team of approximately 60 people, including Assistant Manag*rs, Stretch*rs, Face*ssagers and Advis*rs in your region
- Ensure Manag*r and Advis*r onboarding and training standards are top notch
- Work closely with COO and Program Director to ensure that Stretch*rs and Face*ssagers meet and exceed technical and guest standards
- Ensure staffing needs are met and are within budgets
- Work with Operations Coordinator to ensure accurate payroll reports for all in-space team members
Guest Experience + Community
- Ensure all team members are providing excellent customer service to meet Stretch*d standards
- Work to achieve monthly revenue, membership and occupancy goals
- Provide personalized service to high value clients and escalated client service needs
- Work to drive client acquisition, loyalty, and positive experience
- Act as a liaison between company-wide brand, marketing, operations initiatives and your spaces
- Be an ambassador for the Stretch*d brand through community outreach and other marketing initiatives
- Oversee/attend events and marketing related efforts
- Identify trends in customer feedback and recommend solutions
- Develop and foster strong, strategic relationships with local businesses and communities
Space Operations
- Provide daily and monthly performance reports and actionable strategies
- Ensure retail inventory and merchandising standards are met
- Create high impact roll out of in-space promotions
- Help maintain landlord relationships
- Ensure each space maintains standards for cleanliness, maintenance, safety, security and operations
- Oversee third-party relationships with vendors (i.e. MindBody, Verizon, etc.)
- Oversee cash management
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years in fitness, spa, retail or hospitality experience with a high-end brand
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Experience with Stretch*d brand preferred
- Experience with MindBody preferred
- Proficiency in Google Suites
- Self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven leadership experience and ability to delegate to and motivate team members
- Extremely organized and data-savvy with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and think and react quickly
- Ability to receive and give performance feedback constructively
WORK REQUIREMENTS
- This is a Full-Time role
- Ability to work flexible, non-traditional hours including weekends
- Availability to provide coverage for Advis*r / front desk shifts as necessary
- Regular travel to Stretch*d spaces within region
- Maintain company credit card and submit expense reports accurately and timely
- Must be able to move and/or lift heavy items, up to 50 lbs.
